Join us in Ankeny for a fun filled 3-on-3 basketball tournament using a unique and fun format that does not require you to bring a team. Simply sign up your son and show up at the designated time, they will be play with each of the players in their group over the course of the evening. At the end of the session the final standings will be based on the performance of each individual player in contributing to wins of teams they were part of.

5th/6th Grade:6:00pm – 7:00pm
7th/8th Grade:7:00pm – 8:00pm

Note: Advance registration is required as we need to know how many kids will be attending to organize properly.
How It Works
Based on the number of players who register, the kids will be divided such that there will be between 6 and 10 on a court. The players will then play a series of 5-8 minute games with teams changing for each game. The number of wins, losses, ties and a scoring plus/minus will be calculated for every player, with that being used as the basis for the final standings. It doesn’t matter how many points a player scores, but it does matter how many times a player is on a winning team. This means that in many cases the player who scores the most doesn’t win, but the player who facilitates team scoring wins.
